The Interceltic Festival of Lorient


A must-see event in the region, the Lorient Interceltic Festival brings together hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

For 10 days, more than 5,000 musicians, singers, dancers and other artists perform. Through concerts, shows and entertainment, you will discover or rediscover Celtic traditions.

In 2026, the Lorient Interceltic Festival will take place from July 31 to August 9.

Other iconic cities


Around Lorient, other towns await you. Vannes charms with its medieval historic center, its well-preserved ramparts and its prime location on the edge of the Gulf of Morbihan.

Concarneau is known for its Ville Close, a fortified city built on an islet which testifies to its rich maritime past.

The small town of Pont-Aven, for its part, shines with its mill and its history linked to Paul Gauguin, the famous 19th-century painter.

Off the coast of Brittany


Lorient and its surroundings can also be explored by sea. Head to the port and take a boat to the island of Groix or the island of Molène.

From Lorient, Vannes, or Quiberon, you can also travel to Belle-Île-en-Mer. The largest island in Brittany promises a memorable experience!

A remarkable natural site


The Carnac alignments are an exceptional collection of nearly 3,000 menhirs dating from the Neolithic period. They are one of the most iconic sites in the region, not to be missed during your stay.

Stretching for several kilometers, the world's largest megalithic complex immerses you in Breton history. You can admire it just 35 minutes from your accommodation.

Nous étions un groupe de 40 personnes. Très bon accueil par les propriétaires et à l'écoute durant le séjour. Chambre simple et propre ainsi que la salle d'eau. Repas copieux et bon, apprécié par le groupe de marcheurs. Prix raisonnable pour la prestation.
